Community Guidelines

Last updated: June 2026

Our Values

MatchedIn is built on respect, kindness, and authenticity. We want every member to feel safe and empowered to make genuine connections. These guidelines exist to protect our community and ensure a positive experience for everyone.

Respectful Behaviour

Treat others with the same respect you'd expect in return. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats, hate speech, or any form of abusive behaviour is strictly prohibited. This includes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.

Authentic Profiles

Be yourself. Do not impersonate others, create fake profiles, or misrepresent your identity, age, relationship status, or intentions. Photo verification helps us maintain a trusted community, and we encourage all members to verify their profiles.

Appropriate Content

Keep your photos, messages, and community posts appropriate. Nudity, sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or illegal material is not allowed. Profile photos should clearly show your face. Community posts should contribute positively to discussions.

Safety & Privacy

Protect your personal information. Do not share financial details, home addresses, or other sensitive data with people you've just met. Report any suspicious behaviour immediately. Never send money or gifts to someone you haven't met in person, regardless of their story.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter behaviour that violates these guidelines, use the Report feature in the app. Our moderation team reviews every report and takes appropriate action, which may include warnings, content removal, or account suspension.

Consequences

Violating these guidelines may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. We reserve the right to take action at our discretion to protect the safety and integrity of the MatchedIn community.
